Howdy Guys!~
Let me introduce myself: My name is Jack E. Strify, but I’m only called Strify. I was born with a different name (which I won’t tell you yet) in a little city in the South of Germany called Villingen-Schwenningen. When I was young I didn’t do anything special, I was a very lively and curious child - and still I am. I wouldn’t say I was rebellious, I just had my own head. But until 10th grade you could say I was very very inconspicuous (yeah... I also didn’t look extraordinary). I did very normal things: I went to kindergarten, went to school... But ever since I can remember I had one passion: singing. I’ve always been looking for something else but I never could find anything which made me feel as complete as the feeling of singing. So I found a dream of which I dreamt to make it come true...
And the next chapter began back in 2005. It’s not that long ago but so many things happened that it almost feels like a little lifetime away. I aways tried to find a place where I could sing. But choirs or the school band didn’t feel right. But then... in July 2005 I found some very special people and we felt a big connection. That was the very beginning of Cinema Bizarre.
